Book Review | Steal My Heart by Laura Pavlov
Notes, quotes, & final thoughts; a review that’s honest, thoughtful, and a little chaotic
One of my favorite things about bookstagram is discovering new-to-me authors. During this past holiday season I discovered Laura Pavlov’s writing from her novella ‘Snow Place Like Home’ that was part of the Home Sweet Holidays series and immediately fell in love with her writing. When I looked up her other books I was excited to find that she’s got a HUGE backlist with 10 different series ranging from 2 to 6 books each and most (if not all) are available in KU!!

Quick take:
4.5 stars, loved it! Pretty darn steamy, not for the faint of heart. Enjoyed the overall story and writing style. First in a 6 book series available in KU that I’m planning to binge my way through!
Read if you like (notes, tropes, & thoughts):
Small town with cowboy vibes: Rosewood River
Tropes: workplace romance
Touches on grief and loss, fear, anxiety attacks, therapy
Juxtaposition of family dynamics - loving and caring vs wealthy and cold. Big loving family.
