🤣 Made me laugh - this book had me laughing out loud right from the very beginning

This book was equal parts laugh out loud funny and emotionally touching. 100% absolutely recommend the audiobook version because it’s narrated by the author and it adds so much extra entertainment factor to the overall story.

Important Topics Discussed:

👩🏽 The author is Haitian and Jamaican and talks about racism. One of the things that stood out to me was the annoying need some people have to find out one’s cultural background so they can put them in a box.
