Book Review | The Ordeals by Rachel Greenlaw
Notes, quotes, & final thoughts; a review that’s honest, thoughtful, and a little chaotic
Happiness is starting a new book on the first day of the year and having time to read before the rest of the house wakes up. An ongoing annual tradition for me (maybe 3 years running now?) is starting the year with the Once Upon a Book Club Box ‘Up All Night’ box; I started The Ordeals on New Year’s Day and it was the first book I finished this year.
I love the annual reading challenge poster and champagne flute and I love that they pivoted away from the messy new years streamer and went with a gold bell instead. The wrapped gifts in the box itself were just okay, thankfully the pretty hardback edition and fantastic story made up for it.
