Wishing everyone a Happy October! In case you’re new to my newsletter or website — two things you can expect to hear about are fun silly holidays and lots of books.

Everyday is a cause for celebration and that’s why I love featuring fun and silly national holidays every month. Now that it’s October, Fall and all things spooky are officially here. Fall is my favorite season and I’m all about being cozy!

I love the sunny days but am not a fan of the heat — I’m so ready for sweater weather and it’s only days away. Turn on the AC and give me a cozy blanket any day of the year and I’m a happy camper. So excited to have cooler days on the horizon, the leaves are starting to turn brilliant shades of orange and red, and we’ve officially kicked off fireplace season {our cats are thrilled about that last one}!

Here’s a few holidays that I’m looking forward to this month:

  • 10.1 | National Pumpkin Spice Day

  • 10.1 | National Homemade Cookies Day

  • 10.5 | National Do Something Nice Day

  • 10.7 | National Inner Beauty Day

  • 10.10 | World Mental Health Day

  • 10.10 | National Handbag Day

  • 10.14 | National Dessert Day

  • 10.16 | National Clean Your Virtual Desktop Day

  • 10.16 | Global Cat Day

  • 10.16 | National Dictionary Day

  • 10.16 | National Boss's Day

  • 10.26 | National Pumpkin Day

  • 10.27 | National Black Cat Day

  • 10.31 | Halloween

What are you celebrating this month?

Almost all of the fun national holidays listed fall on the same day each year but please note that some change from year to year. Check in often because I create a new list to make sure you have the latest every month!
