October Wrap-Up
a brief summary of October's highlights… plus all the fun holidays to bookmark for the month ahead!
Good Morning Joyful Readers!
Goodness me, how quickly the end of the year is approaching. I can’t believe Halloween is tomorrow!! It’s my favorite time of the year [in case you didn’t know, Fall is my favorite!!] but unfortunately I haven’t been able to enjoy it as much as I’d hoped; I spent a good chunk of the month being sick and trying to get over a cold. I’m still at the tail end of that but slowly starting to feel better. Despite battling a cold, we still managed to have some festive fun this month; we went to a local pumpkin patch, had a small Halloween party with some close friends, and this week my husband baked a homemade pumpkin pie for us to enjoy. Here’s to hoping November is filled with lots of Fall festive fun too!
Taking a different approach to my blogging has given me some time to truly think about what I want to bring to this space. Through some introspection, I’ve decided to start up two weekly blog series to share. One will be an ongoing series called Chapters of Joy and the other will be a limited seasonal series called Little Shops of Joy. Stay tuned for more weekly content!

DNF’ed (Did Not Finish)
📱 Fall I Want by Lyra Parish ✨ KU | I wanted to love this book but I felt like I was slogging through it. There were bits I enjoyed but so much that I didn’t. I gave almost 5 hours to this book to 60% before I gave up and I wish I could get that time back.

November is almost here and it’s going to be filled with some my favorite things; it’s prime time for fireplace season, soup season, and taking time to reflect and start to plan for the coming year. It’s also filled with tons of literary holidays to celebrate!
