One of the biggest highlights of this past week was a fun-filled day of celebrating Halloween, plus lots of festive meals and snacks throughout the week!
Other highlights and notes from last week:
🥘 We had easy premade dinners 2 nights - I love having soup and chili in the freezer ready to go!
💀👻🧹 Festive food: 2 meals and a snack; Jack-o-lantern stuffed peppers, mini mummy hot dogs, and witches broom string cheese
📚 Books un-hauled: 45
😴 Middle of the night kiddo snuggles: 1
🥧 My husband made pumpkin pie from scratch this weekend and we roasted the seeds.
Mom Life
My kiddo loves when I get book mail and seeing what’s inside, and she gets SUPER excited when there’s books inside for her. This past week we received a copy of the Easy Peasy Paper Projects book. Hands down this is easily one of her new favorite books; we’ve done a new activity almost every day since it arrived. It’s a fun book of ideas with directions on how to make simple yet fun crafts for kids. THANK YOU to Page Street Publishing for the lovely gifted copy and for sparking so much inspiration and creativity in our house!

Gifts & Finds
I started using the ShopMy affiliate platform earlier this year and just recently ranked up in status from Ambassador to Trendsetter. The exciting aspect of hitting a higher status is that I have the ability to receive gifting from brands I like.
As someone whose retail experience stems in a foundation of Nordstrom customer service paired with years growing up as a Girl Scout, I am proud to say that I refuse to promote a product I don’t believe in, and I will never share a fake positive opinion just because I received something for free.
That being said, I’m excited to say I received my first free gift through the ShopMy platform from Brutus Broth. They gifted me two boxes of goat milk and one box of salmon broth mix packets. Our cats both seemed interested in smelling the goat milk but decided they weren’t interested in drinking it. They did however seem to enjoy the broth on top of their dry food. I’ll continue to use that for the next few weeks because my older boy Ares definitely doesn’t drink as much water as he should and the extra hydration is good for him.
