Sunday is notorious for a lot of things, both good and bad. #SundayFunday #SundayScaries #SelfCareSunday #SundayBrunch and #SundayVibes are a few of the top hashtags that come through my weekly feed on social media.

Sunday tends to be a day of preparation in my house. It’s a great day to do laundry, plan out meals for the week, go grocery shopping, and mentally prepare for the week ahead. It’s also a great time to reflect on the previous week.

What were the highlights and lowlights of the week? What new lessons did you learn or things did you experience? What new recipes did you try that you loved? What new shows or movies did you enjoy? What new books did you read?

Where did you find entertainment and joy this past week?

At no cost to you I receive a commission for items purchased through links.

What I Read in December:
  1. Improbably Yours by Kerry Anne King | Rating 4.75

  2. A Very Merry Bromance by Lyssa Kay Adams | Rating 4.5

  3. Kiss Her Once for Me by Alison Cochrun | Rating 4.5

  4. Season of Love by Helena Greer | Rating 4.5

  5. The Meaning of Mariah Carey by Mariah Carey | Audiobook | Rating 3.75

  6. 12 Days of Book-Club-Mas from Once Upon a Book Club Box | Rating 3.0

What I’m Currently Reading:
  1. If The Shoe Fits (A Meant to Be Novel #1) by Julie Murphy

  2. The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett

  3. Love People, Use Things by the Minimalists

  4. Sweet Success by Candace Nelson

Looking for something new to add to your never-ending TBR? Check out all of the new books being released in January 2023!

What I Recently Enjoyed on TV:
  • Wednesday on Netflix| A new favorite!! I devoured this show very quickly.

  • Emily in Paris, Season 3 | I wish these seasons were longer! Such great entertainment.

What I’m Currently Watching:
  • National Treasure: Edge of History on Disney+ | It irks me to wait each week for a new episode but it does bring a bit of nostalgia for my childhood days when getting one episode a week was the norm. Enjoying this show so far and love the Riley Poole was in the last episode!

Where will you find joy this week?
