Indie Bookstore is always the perfect way to end April and kick May off in high gear for all the book lovers. April is National Poetry month which means I always find myself buying poetry on indie bookstore day! I picked up a few new ones this year and am slowly beginning to enjoy them.
May is filled to the brim with important national month holidays - from Jewish and AAPI Heritage Months to Mental Health Awareness Month to Get Caught Reading Month - the book recommendations all across social media are going to be flowing, and I’m 100% here for it!

One of my favorite traditions each year is creating and sharing a list of fun and silly holidays happening every month. I do this in hopes of inspiring ways to find joy in living each day to the fullest, because there’s always a reason to celebrate.
