April showers bring May flowers
Somehow every year we have an interesting juxtaposition of weather this month - some days are gloomy and some are filled with pockets of sunshine, reminding us of the clear skies and brilliant sunny days ahead. There’s a famous quote that says you have to put up with the rain in order to get the rainbow, and I wholeheartedly love this mindset; yes, it rains a lot here in Oregon, but because of that rain we’ve got some of the most beautiful luscious landscapes and forests. I don’t think you can appreciate the true beauty of what grows, without understanding and appreciating the rain that fuels its growth.

One of my favorite traditions each year is creating and sharing a list of fun and silly holidays happening every month. I do this in hopes of inspiring ways to find joy in living each day to the fullest, because there’s always a reason to celebrate.
